2012 Pre Hall Olympics Exhibit

Each Olympic year, the Department of Nike Archives team is challenged to bring Nike’s history of both our athletes and products to life in new and inspiring ways. This year was no different. I had the fortunate opportunity to work with a talented Design Director, Courtney Blommer, to bring her design intent to life with these large, dimensional, digital, and product displays. Collaborating closely with great design fabrication partners, ACME and Premier Press, we were able to build them off-site, in sections so that they could fit into the building and reduce installation time on-site. Relying on my connections and relationships within Nike, we were able to minimally disrupt traffic and Nike business while transporting these giant Roman numerals into Pre Hall.
